live and alive
Live and Alive was an online broadcast new year's eve music event produced by Evolutionary Music Co-Operative. It included 18 performers - spanning 6 hours, presented Live from our studio in downtown Toronto. All expenses have been covered through credit and sponsorship. The Performers covered a wide mix of genres and their roots span the globe and include performers from Ghana, Nigeria, Europe, Russia, The West Indies and various countries throughout South America. The lineup was an excellent representation of the diversity of Toronto, and it reflects our multicultural success.
Raw Artists Canada Showcase
EvMC Founding Artist Member Shessi Sandu had a great performance at the RAW Artists Canada Premier Showcase on February 7th at the Mod Club in Toronto. Her set included a super performance of her single release “Hold it Together”. The capacity crowd seemed to thoroughly enjoy the set. Shessi's bandmates were Brylle Cortes on guitar, Bryant Didier on bass, Patricio Martinez on percussion with Devynne, Zakirah and Zenaida on backing vocals. It was a great evening of entertainment overall.

Opening Party
We had a great Opening Party, Saturday December 14th at Mirto Fresh in Toronto. There was a great crowd who seemed to enjoy the entertainment by our Artist Members and musical friends. There was lots of interest expressed in the co-op in general with multiple offers to get involved.
We want to thank the great crew that pulled it all together and got us ready to launch – Yessi, Nadia, Thorn and Najla, Josephine, Brent, Osman, Alykhan and Bryant, with help from Alan for the logo and business card design.
Thanks to all the artists who performed starting with John T. Davis, Shessi Sandu, our new friend Rune , Defaite Charles, M-Rob Dogo, Gib and Tam (Sword and Spear) …. and last but certainly not least our Founding Director Bryant Didier. Also a shout-out to EvMC member Osman for his great DJ work. He certainly knows who to get people moving on the dance floor.
